Woman Punched Unconscious At Columbia University China Protest: NYPD
A man viciously attacked a 21-year-old woman participating in a protest at Columbia against China's COVID lockdown laws, NYPD said Friday.

COLUMBIA, NY — A man punched a woman unconscious at a protest taking place on the Columbia University campus earlier this week, police said on Friday.
The 21-year-old woman was participating in the demonstration against China's strict COVID-19 lockdown laws about 7:50 p.m. on Monday in front of 535 W. 116th St., when a counter protester walked up to her and punched her multiple times in the head, police said and the Daily News reported.
The woman lost consciousness from the hits, police said.

The attacker fled the Morningside Heights campus and the woman was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in stable condition.
