Bodies Of 2 Women Wash Up On UWS, Police Say
A report claimed the women were found bound together by tape.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The bodies of two women were found washed up on the banks of the Hudson River on Wednesday afternoon near an Upper West Side stretch of Riverside Park, an NYPD spokesman said.
Officers responded to the vicinity of West 72nd Street and Riverside Boulevard around 2:45 p.m. after receiving a call that two bodies were floating in the river, an NYPD spokesman said. Police pulled two women — both unresponsive — from the rocky shore of the Hudson and EMS pronounced them dead at the scene, an NYPD spokesman said.
ABC New York reporter Josh Einiger reported that a source said the women were taped together, but an NYPD spokesman could not confirm that detail.
