Police: 19-Year-Old Arrested for DWI

A Long Beach woman was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated in North Long Beach on Aug. 12 at 4 a.m., reported Nassau police.

According to police, a vehicle traveling southbound on Austin Blvd. was observed drifting in and out of the lane. After a VTL stop was performed, it was determined that the driver, Devon Oneill, 19, was under the influence of alcohol, police said. A 15-year-old female passenger was released from the scene, police said.

Oneill was arrested and transported to central testing for processing where she was charged with aggravated DWI and failure to maintain lane, reported police. She will be arraigned on August 12 at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
