2 Rescued In Wantagh After Clinging To Submerged Jet Ski
Police say they pulled a man and woman to safety Thursday afternoon after they were found clinging to a jet ski underwater.
WANTAGH, NY — Nassau County police on Thursday rescued two people who were clinging to a jet ski that was underwater in Wantagh.
Around 1:45 p.m. Thursday, police marine units on routine patrol spotted a man and woman, both 25, holding onto a jet ski submerged in Bellmore Channel. The officers pulled the passengers to safety and both people were taken to Wantagh Marina.
No one was hurt.
