Bicycle Camp for Individuals With Disabilities Taking Applications

Let the Training Wheels, the Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation and, The Center for Community Inclusion at C.W. Post is collaborating on a program that teaches individuals with disabilities to independently ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle.

Five-day camp sessions will take place from June 27-July 1 at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. To be eligible participants must be at least eight years old and have a disability but be able to walk without an assistive device such as a walker or cane.

Cost of the camp is $175 and a limited number of scholarships will be available. Applications can be obtained by visiting www.dsafonline.org. The application deadline is June 8.
