Josephine M Butigieg of Wantagh died on Nov. 9, 2010. She was 88.

Butigieg was born in Malta. She is the daughter of the late John and the Elizabeth (Bonello) Aquilina. She was pre-deceased by her sons Dito and Robert.

Butigieg is survived by her husband Dito, children Joseph (Georgette) and Diana McCloskey(Dennis), six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Frances De Chantal R.C. Church in Wantagh followed by interment in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.
