Annual Wantagh HS Alumni Lacrosse Games to be Played Saturday

Former lacrosse players will be putting the pads on again Saturday in an effort to raise scholarship funds for graduating Warriors set to play at the next level.

The Wantagh High School Alumni 15^th Annual Lacrosse Games are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on the same field the former Warrior players once suited up. The alumni Wantagh women’s lacrosse game is scheduled for 11 a.m. followed by the men taking the field at 1 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive early to sign in.

Following the two alumni games on Wantagh High School’s synthetic surface field, there will be a postgame party at . The cost to play in the game and attend the part is $50. To just play in the alumni game, the cost is $40.

All proceeds from the games and postgame party will be used to fund scholarships for deserving Wantagh High School graduating seniors that will be playing collegiately next year. Officials for the Wantagh Alumni Lacrosse Association said any and all donations would be appreciated.
