Auction of Seaford Clothing Store Items Slated for Wednesday
Lulu's on Merrick Road is closing up shop with auction of all unsold items taking place Wednesday at 1 p.m.
A Seaford clothing apparel store is closing up shop Wednesday.
A live auction of all unsold clothing items at Lulu's on 3748 Merrick Road is scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m. The business suffered extensive flood damage from Hurricane Sandy and was closed for a few weeks following the Oct. 29 storm before reopening again for a short time. In advance of the store closing, a going out of business sale was held.
Lulu's was closed on Tuesday and nobody at the business could be reached for comment. Wednesday's auction is being run by Melville-based American Auctions, Liquidations, Appraisals, Inc., which says on its website that all men's and women's designer clothes in the store "must be sold." Some of the items that will be sold at the auction include designer jeans, assorted designer women's tops, skirts, men's designer shirts by Lacoste, women's designer shoes by Steve Madden and clothing racks.
