Cooling Centers To Handle Wednesday's Expected Heat In Nassau
It's expected to feel like at least 90 degrees.
MINEOLA, NY — With temperatures forecasted to soar near 90 degrees, and feel even hotter, on Wednesday, Nassau County officials are turning the air conditioning on at three cooling centers.
County Executive Bruce Blakeman announced cooling centers will be open through Thursday morning.

- Cantiague Park Administration Office, 480 W John Street, Hicksville (Open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Mitchel Field Administration Building, 1 Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, Uniondale (Open 24 hours)
- Wantagh Admistration Building, 1 King Road, Wantagh (Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
