Crime Report: Assault, Stolen Truck, Car Egged
Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th and 8th Precinct.

- A box truck was reported stolen from Jerry’s Automotive on 3830 Merrick Rd., Seaford between March 12-17. Police said the complainant parks his 1988 white Ford Box Truck at Jerry’s Automotive and picks it up when the vehicle is needed for work. The company name “Bow Tie Construction” is written across both sides of the truck.
- On March 16 Gregory s Saccaro of Seaford was arrested on Arlington Drive in Seaford and charged with assault. Police said Saccaro, 20, struck his victim in the face with a closed fist causing a fractured front tooth, bleeding and substantial pain.
- On March 18, Danuta Brajczewska, 51 of Wantagh was arrested at Macy’s in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
- Someone attempted to steal a 2002 blue Ford Truck between March 17-18 at Tim White Home Improvements on 3956 Merrick Rd., Seaford. The driver side door lock and steering column of the vehicle was damaged.
- A 1997 gray Ford Taurus parked on Jane Street in Wantagh was egged and a purple sticky substance was poured on the rear of the vehicle at around 11:55 p.m. on March 18. Police said a white female with a ponytail was seen leaving the scene on foot.
- A group of youths walking on Smith Street in Wantagh threw a rock at a front window of a house on March 19 at around 10:10 p.m.
- Two air conditioners and a bicycle were reported stolen from an unlocked shed in the backyard of a home on Duckpond Drive North in Wantagh on March 20.
The information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct and Eighth Precint incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.
