Crime Report: Home Burglaries, Disorderly Conduct Arrest at Train Station
Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's First and Seventh Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions
- An external hard drive was reported stolen from an unlocked 2001 gray Nissan Sentra parked on Bunker Avenue in Wantagh on Oct. 21.
- Assorted items were stolen from an unlocked 1997 gray BMW parked on Bunker Avenue in Wantagh on Oct. 24.
- A metal garbage can, house gutters, copper tubing and a piece of a shed were reported stolen from a home on Washington Avenue in Seaford on Oct. 26.
- Two homes on Downhill Lane in Wantagh were burglarized on Oct. 27. In one burglary the point of entry was through a rear door with assorted jewelry stolen. In the other burglary the point of entry was through a rear window with assorted jewelry and money taken.
- On Oct. 29, Lauren E Hughes, 29, of Westbury was arrested at the , and charged with disorderly conduct.
- The driver side mirror of a 1997 white Ford Taurus parked on Bellport Avenue in Wantagh was reported broken on Oct. 29.
- A house on Deer Lane in Wantagh was burglarized on Oct. 29. The point of entry was through a front door but no items were reported stolen.
