Crime Report: Home Burglaries, Light Pole Knocked Over at Wantagh Library
Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions
- On Nov. 16, James J Brunhuber, 55, of Seaford was arrested on Merrick Road near West Shore Drive in Massapequa and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
- A home on Day Street in Seaford was burglarized between Nov. 8-28. The point of entry was through a basement window but no items were reported stolen.
- A 2000 gray Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot on Nov. 16.
- A light pole was reported knocked over in the parking lot on Nov. 17.
- On Nov. 18, Edward Danziger, 47, of Brooklyn was arrested on Merrick Road near 1st Street, Wantagh and charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- On Nov. 18, Boris N Jairala, 32, of Brooklyn was arrested on Merrick Road near 1st Street in Wantagh and charged with second-degree robbery.
- On Nov. 18, Michael A Devivo, 22, of Bethpage was arrested on Beech Street near Woodward Avenue in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
- Tires and rims were reported stolen from a 2009 black Honda Accord parked on Hawthorne Drive East in Wantagh on Nov. 19.
- On Nov. 19, Ryan T Cirllo, age 21 of Bryant Drive, Seaford was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Hicksville Road in Massapequa and charged with resisting arrest and five vehicle and traffic law violations.
- Tires and rims were reported stolen a 2001 white Toyota Camry parked on Bernice Road in Seaford on Nov. 19.
- A home on Duckpond Drive South in Wantagh was burglarized on Nov. 20 with assorted jewelry stolen.
- A home on Gwenn Gate in Seaford was burglarized on Nov. 23 with assorted jewelry and electronics stolen. The point of entry was through a rear window.
- On Nov. 26, Donna M Ferrante, 49, of Orchard Road, Wantagh was arrested at JC Penny in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
- The rear glass door at on 1227 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh was broken by an unknown suspect on Nov. 26 who fled the scene on foot.
- A police officer on routine patrol on Nov. 26 discovered the front glass window of on 3501 Merrick Rd., Wantagh broken.
- A woman reported leaving her iPad on a bench in the lobby of 3360 Merrick Rd., Seaford and then discovered it missing on Nov. 26.
- The passenger side window of a 2011 gray Mercedes parked on Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh was pried open on Nov. 27 with briefcase containing electronics stolen.
- A man on Condit Street in Seaford reported on Nov. 27 observing damage to the roof of his 1996 black Ford and discovered property stolen.
- The rear driver side window of someone's 2010 gray Acura TSX was smashed by an unknown suspect on Nov. 27.
- Several panels of a PVC fence at a home on Diana Street in Seaford were knocked out on Nov. 27.
- The rear driver side window of a 2010 red Mazda 03 parked on Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh was smashes with an iPod and headphones stolen on Nov. 27.
