Dec. 2: Zumba Video for MacArthur Track, McCain's Remark about Long Island

1.Friday is expected to be sunny in southeast Nassau County with a high temperature near 53 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

2. A video will run this morning on Levittown Patch and Wantagh-Seaford Patch of a zumba fundraiser for the MacArthur High School track program conducted by the Hofstra University dance team.

3. The area is still buzzing over a remark U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz, made Wednesday on Capital Hill when he stated, "Last I checked, Long Island was part – albeit sometimes regrettably – of the United States of America." 4. Musician Jason Leibman will be performing tonight at The Cup Coffee House in Wantagh tonight from 9 p.m. to midnight.
