A recent book launch party and signing was held at Memorare Caterers on Jackson Avenue in Seaford for a new book by a local author from Wantagh. Thomas LoFrese is a licensed Private Investigator and the owner of TL Services Investigations LLC also in Wantagh. His book is about a Great Neck lawyer who becomes involved with the mob which insists that he arrange an escape from Rikers Island by one of their members who is being held for trial. A group of societal misfits are gathered to stage a jailbreak. With the backdrop of the pandemic and some major tragic events in his personal life the impossible is to be attempted. The author’s brother helped design the cover of the book and it is his body floating in the water on the cover. Published by Dorrance Publishing Co. the book is available on the bookstore on their website as well as Amazon, Barns and Noble, Walmart and others booksellers.
