Graffiti Drawn at Seaford Train Station

Vandalism at LIRR station discovered Monday morning by commuters.

MTA Police are investigating graffiti that was discovered drawn throughout the by commuters Monday morning.

The vandalism was found on the train station platform as well as next to the tracks above Jackson Avenue. Graffiti was also painted on a sidewalk in front of a World War I memorial on the train station property that is operated by the Town of Hempstead.

The MTA sent a cleaning crew late Monday morning to clean up the graffiti on the platform but were unable to access the tracks. LIRR spokesman Sal Arena said it was unknown when the graffiti next to the tracks would be removed.
