May 16: Playoffs, Meetings

1. The beginning of the work week is expected to be a wet one in the Wantagh-Seaford area with periods of drizzle and a high near 68 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

2. The baseball team has a playoff elimination game today at second-seeded Clarke starting at 4:30 p.m. The Vikings their opening playoff game this past Saturday over Valley Stream South, 13-3.

3. The Seaford softball team will also be facing Clarke in a playoff game at home starting at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Vikings their opening round playoff game over Valley Stream North 6-1 this past Friday.

4. The Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting tonight starting at 7 p.m.

5. The will be holding its monthly board meeting at the law offices of on 3332 Sunrise Hwy, Wantagh starting at 6:30 p.m.
