May 19: Billy Dean's Hearing, Band Concert, Bird Walk

1. The wet weather the Wantagh-Seaford area has experienced this week is expected to continue today. Scattered showers including possible thunderstorms are forecasted for after 2 p.m. today with a high temperature near 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. 

2. The Town of Hempstead Board of Zoning Appeals held a rehearing yesterday for North Bellmore strip club owner Billy Dean's application to open a new Wantagh establishment. Check back later this morning for a report on what Dean said at the hearing when describing what he has in store for Wantagh.

3.  music department will host its annual Spring Band Concert tonight starting at 8 p.m.
