N. Bellmore Store Robbed at Gunpoint

A Jerusalem Avenue convenience store was held up by a masked man with a gun Friday afternoon, cops said.

A N. Bellmore convenience store was robbed by a masked man with a gun Friday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.

At 1:11 p.m., an unknown man wearing a camouflage mask approached a 23-year-old clerk at Quick Stop, located at 2741 Jerusalem Avenue, police said.

The man brandished a gun and demanded cash from the employee, cops said. He then grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the register and fled north on foot on Harrison Street, police said.

The man was described as 5-foot-9, stocky build, wearing a dark hat and mask, and carrying a black handgun.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
