Police say Michael Hance tied to pry open safe with crow bar at Dairy Barn on 3990 Jerusalem Ave., Seaford.

Nassau County detectives made an arrest Thursday for a burglary that occurred at Dairy Barn in Seaford last month.

According to detectives, Michael Hance, 32, of Seaford was discovered inside Dairy Barn on 3990 Jerusalem Ave. by the store manager who arrived to open the business at 5 a.m. on Nov. 21. Hance attempted to pry open the safe with a crow bar before fleeing the scene, detectives said.

Hance is charged with third-degree burglary and was arraigned on Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.

The Seaford Dairy Barn was also the site of a robbery this past March with Nicole Bostantzoglou, 23, of Long Beach and Anthony Dunn, 25, of Broad Channel in Oceanside. Bostantzoglou and Dunn were also charged with robbing a Dairy Barn in Merrick.
