Seaford Voters Pass School Budget, Kindergarten Mileage Proposition

Seaford approved the school district’s $63.64 million proposed budget 1,396-431 votes.

The budget includes a 1.6 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 2.28 percent tax levy increase.

Patrick Rail was elected to the Board of Education after running unopposed.

Also, Proposition 2 involving kindergarten mileage limitation passed 1,098-507 votes.
