Adventure Begins at Your Library!

This summer Wantagh Public Library had reading programs for babies to adults. Encouraging all ages to keep reading through the summer. A special celebration was held for the children after logging minutes read each week at the library. All Star DJ put on a great party filled with music, contests, carnival games, face painting, and glitter tattoos. Senator Steve Rhoads, Councilman Chris Schneider and Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murray were in attendance to congratulate the children on their reading. Library staff enjoyed the afternoon of fun with the families.
