Head to Jones Beach Friday and watch cops from around the island compete in the annual championship.

A day at the beach turns into a war of the counties Friday at the 8th Annual Long Island Police Tug-of-War Championship.

The competition, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m., will bring law enforcement from Nassau and Suffolk together in a competition of brute strength.

Raffles and bracelets will be on sale at the event, which will donate all proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project’s Warriors to Work program.
