Wantagh Man Faces Narcotics Charges After Police Find Several Substances In Home: Police
Police said they believed some of the substances to be ketamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, along with paraphernalia.
WANTAGH, NY. — A Wantagh man is facing controlled substance charges Thursday after police said they found what they believed to be methamphetamine, MDMA, GHB, paraphernalia and ketamine in a Wantagh home.
Nassau County police said Thursday that 53-year-old Daniel Posner was arrested Wednesday and faces one second, one third and one fourth-degree charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Posner also faces eight seventh-degree counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
According to police, officers from NCPD and the Nassau County Probation Department responded to a home on Darby Road at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday morning, finding approximately 85 grams of what they believed to be crystal methamphetamine, 15 grams of what they believed to be ketamine, and varying quantities of MDMA, GHB, alprazolam and paraphernalia while investigating the home. Posner was arrested without incident and the Town of Hempstead Building Department secured the property, police said.
