Wantagh Pizzeria Holding Pie Special for Four-Year Anniversary

in Wantagh is celebrating its four-year anniversary in the community by giving back to its customers.

On Saturday, the pizzeria on 3060 Merrick Rd. is offering a $6.95 pie special while the business is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

"I wanted to do something for the community," said Marie Falco, co-owner of Marinella's.

Falco and her husband Pat opened up in Wantagh on Nov. 17, 2007 after operating several Carlos Pizza locations throughout Queens. Falco said Marinella's Pizza has become a huge staple in the southern section of Wantagh, especially with the pizzeria's close proximity to .

"We're a family-run business who treats our customers like family," she said.
