• Age: 16
• School: Holy Trinity High School
• Accomplishment: Austin, a Wantagh resident, volunteered his time during the summer to participate in the Green Teens program held at the in East Garden City. The Green Teen program engages students from neighboring high schools to develop and teach interactive nature and environmental education programs for Museum visitors.  The eight-week program was sponsored by National Grid.
• Key to Awesomeness:  Austin is a true "go-getter".  He was really enthusiastic with his mentors, his peers, and with the children.  He got just as much out of this program as he gave. He did very extensive lesson plans - from beginning to end.
