17-Story Building With 270 Residents Coming To Inwood
The real estate group constructing the new Inwood building lauds its ability to revitalize "once-forgotten neighborhoods."

INWOOD, NY — A 17-story building that will house 270 residents is on its way to Inwood after developers recently filed permits with the city.
The 70-foot tall development will get constructed at 3880 Ninth Avenue, near West 207th Street.
In terms of totals, the building will have 210,932 square feet, with 190,821 square feet for residential space and 20,111 square feet for most likely a ground floor commercial space.

New York Yimby reported that the price of the rentals will be based on the average unit size of 706 square feet.
For those who keep their ears perked for any Upper Manhattan parking news, the development will come with 41 parking spaces, but they will all be enclosed.

A demolition permit was already filed with the city this month for a one-story building at the address.
An estimated completion date for the demolition of the current property at the address or construction of the new building has not been announced.
The Jay Group is the listed owner of the new building application, which says the following about itself.
"Our ability to identify and develop programs in areas of high growth potential has empowered the transformation and revitalization of once-forgotten neighborhoods," an About section reads on its website.
A quick scan through its property list shows multiple buildings in Bushwick, with other properties in Harlem and the Lower East Side.
