2 Shot On Washington Heights Street, Police Say
Both victims, men in their 20s, are expected to survive the gunshots.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police are searching for two gunmen after two people were shot on a Washington Heights street early Monday morning, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Two men were standing in front of 134 Haven Ave., an apartment building located between West 172nd and 173rd streets, shortly before 1 a.m. when they were shot, police said. The men were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive their injuries, police said.
The 24-year-old victim was treated at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and the 21-year-old victim was treated at Harlem Hospital, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

The NYPD is searching for two men in their 20s in connection with the shooting, an NYPD spokeswoman said. The spokeswoman could not confirm a potential motive for the shooting.
