Boyfriend Charged In Killing Of Wash Heights Woman Found In Tub
Ramona Rodriguez Reynoso was found dead in her bathtub on West 167th Street in April. Her longtime boyfriend has been charged, police say.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police have charged and arrested the longtime boyfriend of a mother of two and grandmother to several after she was found dead in the bathtub of her Washington Heights apartment at the end of April.
German Reynoso, 57, was arrested and charged with murder at the beginning of May in connection to the death of 50-year-old Ramona Rodriguez-Reynoso, the New York Police Department announced early Tuesday morning.
Rodriguez-Reynoso was found April 23 unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot and stab wounds to her head and body inside her bathtub at West 167th Street, according to police. She died at the scene.

In the days after her death, Reynoso avoided getting caught during a manhunt until he was captured by police 72 hours later at a Days Inn hotel in Methuen, Massachusetts.
"Just depression has pushed me a lot," Reynoso said during a court hearing in Massachusetts, according to the Eagle Tribune.
