Congressman Hosts Upper Manhattan Career Fair
More than 30 public agencies and private companies have committed to attending the event.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — There's good news for job seekers in Upper Manhattan. This month, Congressman Adriano Espaillat is organizing a career fair in Harlem with more than 30 participating local businesses and government agencies.
The career fair will be held Oct. 18 at the Harlem Hospital Center on Lenox Avenue and West 136th Street, Espaillat's office announced. Job seekers can attend the event between 4-7 p.m. to meet employers hiring within the congressman's district, which includes most of Harlem and all of Washington Heights and Inwood.
"New York has a thriving business community, and I’m hosting this career fair to help individuals looking to make a career transition or who are searching for part-time, full-time, or seasonal positions meet local and national business leaders seeking to fill available opportunities within their respective companies," Espaillat said in a statement.

As of Thursday, 30 employers have committed to attending the event, a spokeswoman for Espaillat said. Confirmed public agencies include the MTA and Department of Health Services and confirmed private employers include Costco and Blink Fitness.
Interested employers can register for the career fair by reaching out to Congressman Adriano Espaillat's office before Thursday, Oct. 11.
