"Just glad it didn't spread to other apartments," Flickner said. "The last fire we had was about 2 years ago in 2A."
The blaze a couple of years ago in 80 Seaman Avenue killed two people.
While it is not confirmed, multiple neighbors shared on Facebook that the tenants where the flames started on Monday morning were not home.
Residents also told Patch that the super of the building said the cause of the fire was unattended lit candles and Christmas decorations. This is not confirmed.
