Gun-Toting Trio In Wash Heights Robs Man Of $8K In Cash: Police

Police released photos Thursday of three men wanted in connection to a recent gunpoint robbery on West 160th Street in the Heights.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A man was recently robbed at gunpoint of an iPhone and roughly $8,000 in cash by three men in Washington Heights, the New York Police Department said on Thursday.

Three men approached a 47-year-old man on Saturday around 9:30 p.m. in front of 517 West 160th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam, police said.

One of the three men flashed a gun while the other two took the man's bag, containing his phone and $8,000, before quickly running away in an unknown direction, police said.

There were no injuries and no arrests.

On Thursday, police released photos of the men wanted in connection to the robbery.
