Man Accused Of Stabbing In Washington Heights Wanted By NYPD

According to NYPD, the suspect pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim one time in the chest.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The New York City Police Department is asking the public's help in tracking down a man accused of a stabbing in the Washington Heights area.

According to NYPD, on Thursday, Dec. 10 around 9:30 p.m. in front of 88 Nagle Ave., a 39-year old male victim got into a verbal dispute with an unidentified man, which ultimately escalated into a physical confrontation.

Police said the unidentified man then pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim one time in the chest.

That man then fled in an unknown direction, police said.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
