Man Dragged And Robbed Of ID Card In Inwood Building: Police
A man was walking up the stairs of a residential building in Inwood when he was attacked from behind and robbed, police said.

INWOOD, NY — A man was attacked from behind in a residential Inwood building, dragged across the floor, and robbed of his ID card and around $100 in cash, police said.
The attack happened on Dec. 31 around 4:45 p.m. in the staircase of a building near West 212th Street and 10th Avenue, police said.
The 56-year-old man was walking up the stairs of the building when the attack took place.

Once he secured the man's belongings, the robber ran out of the building in an unknown direction, police said.
NYPD did not specify if the man who was robbed lived in the building.

The police released a video Wednesday afternoon of the Inwood attack and robbery.
Police said the man who was robbed didn't suffer any major injuries.
