Man Found Dead In Riverside Park, Police Say

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police found a man dead Friday morning in the Washington Heights section of Riverside Park, the NYPD said.

The unidentified man was found unconscious and unresponsive near the intersection of West 158th Street and Riverside Drive at 8:07 a.m. Friday, police said. An emergency medical worker pronounced him dead at the scene.

The man had no visible signs of trauma, an NYPD spokesman said. The medical examiner is investigating the cause of death.
