Man Hit, Killed By Train At Uptown Subway Station, NYPD Says
The man was struck and pinned underneath a train at the West 155th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard station.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — A man was struck and killed by a train at an Uptown Manhattan subway station Wednesday, an NYPD spokesman said.
Officers were dispatched to the West 155th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard subway station around 4:45 p.m. after receiving reports that a man was struck and pinned underneath a train, police said.
Preliminary investigations indicate the man tripped and fell onto the platform and police are not suspecting foul play, an NYPD spokesman said.

Trains on the B and D lines bypassed the station while officers operated at the scene, MTA officials said. Delays are expected on both lines.
Service Update: Northbound D trains are running local from 145 St to Tremont Av. Southbound B and D trains are bypassing 155 St. Expect delays in B and D train service in both directions.
