NYPD just revealed information about a man who they say is wanted for attacking and sexually assaulting two women in Highbridge Park.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police are looking for a man who attacked two women in Highbridge Park at the end of August, the NYPD announced over the weekend.
The first attack happened just after midnight on Aug. 17 — near the corner of West 181st Street and Amsterdam Avenue in the Washington Heights park — when an unknown man grabbed a 35-year-old woman sleeping in the park, police said.
He restrained the woman and sexually assaulted her, police said. The man also stole a battery charger from the woman and fled the park.

Once inside, the man took out a straight razor and demanded sex, police said.
The woman fought him off, broke free of his grip, and was able to run out of the park. She received a minor cut on her hand, but refused medical attention, police said.
On Saturday, police announced the man wanted in connection to the two attacks is known as "Rafi." He's 40 to 50 years old, is medium build, has short dark hair, and is missing front teeth, NYPD said.
Here is a photo of Rafi that police sent out over the weekend.
