Man In Wash Heights Barbershop Robbed Of $150K In Jewelry: NYPD

Three men with guns robbed a man sitting in a barbershop near West 189th Street on Sunday, video shows.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A man sitting in a Washington Heights barbershop on Sunday was robbed of $150,000 in jewelry by three men in ski masks pointing guns, police say and video shows.

The 26-year-old man was sitting on a bench just past midnight within the Jordan MVP Barbershop at 4411 Broadway, the corner of West 189th Street, when three men rushed through the doors with guns drawn, video shows.

The barbershop was mostly empty as the man is forced to remove his bracelets and chains, video shows.

The robbers also point their guns at other people within the Washington Heights business.

No injuries were reported.

There have been no arrests.
