Man's Body Found In Waters Near Inwood Bridge, NYPD Says
The unidentified man was pronounced dead after being pulled from the Harlem River.

INWOOD, NY — A man's body was pulled from the Harlem River Thursday afternoon from waters at the base of an Inwood bridge, an NYPD spokesman said.
Officers responded to the University Heights Bridge near Ninth Avenue and West 207th Street around noon after receiving reports of a body floating in the water, an NYPD spokesman said. An unidentified man's body was pulled from the river and the man was pronounced dead, police said.
The man was fully clothed and initial examinations revealed no signs of trauma, an NYPD spokesman said. The city medical examiner will conduct a full investigation into the man's death.

Officers from both Inwood's 34th Precinct and the Bronx's 52nd Precinct both responded to the scene.
