Stick-up Crew Linked To 4 Uptown Robberies, Police Say
The robberies occurred in December and February in the West 180s near Audubon and Wadsworth avenues.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS-INWOOD, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a three-man stick-up crew that has been linked to four Upper Manhattan robberies since December, police said.
The crew's crime spree began on Dec. 22 and the most recent robbery occurred on Saturday, Feb. 16, police said. During all four robberies the thieves threatened victims with either a gun or knife, police said.

- On Dec. 22 around 1:50 a.m. the group approached a 57-year-old man near Audubon Avenue and West 189th Street and threatened the man with a gun. The man handed over his wallet, which contained about $900 in cash and several credit cards.
- On Dec. 24 around 2:25 a.m. the group approached a man from behind on Audubon Avenue and West 188th Street and shoved him to the ground. One of the robbers displayed a gun and demanded money. The victim handed over $13.
- On Feb. 7 around 2:25 a.m. the group approached a 47-year-old man from behind on Audubon Avenue and West 188th street and covered his mouth. One of the robbers punched the man in the face and flashed a knife while the other stripped the man of his jewelry.
- On Feb. 16 around around 11:30 p.m. the group approached a man on Wadsworth Avenue and West 187th Street. The robbers shoved the man to the ground, threatened him with a gun ans stole his wallet. The robbers also smashed the man's cellphone on the sidewalk before fleeing the scene.
Police released a photo of three suspects (seen above) taken by a sreet-facing security camera.
