Teenager Slashed On 1 Train In Washington Heights: Police
A 19-year-old woman was slashed with a knife while riding a northbound 1 train near West 168th Street. The attacker escaped at 181st.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A teenager was slashed across the arm after being asked for the time early Thursday morning on a northbound 1 train in Washington Heights, police said.
A 19-year-old woman was riding the uptown train in between the 168th and 181st Street stops around 12:27 a.m. when a man in his twenties approached her and asked for the time, when she ignored him, the attacker pulled out a knife and cut her across the arm, police said.
The attacker ran out of the station at 181st Street and the woman was taken to Columbia Presbyterian in stable condition.

There have been no arrests as of Thursday morning.
Police did not release a photo or video of the possibile suspect.
