WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Recent college graduates looking for a place to live in New York City should look to uptown Manhattan, according to a new study from the team at Localize.city.

With high marks for affordability, commuting distance and an active nightlife, Washington Heights was named the best neighborhood in the city for recent college graduates in Localize's newly-released study.

"Recent grads looking for an affordable Manhattan option continue to flock to Washington Heights," Localize.city urban planner Liat Halpern said. "The neighborhood may not have as many amenities compared to other parts of the island, but as more young people move in, more restaurants and cafes are opening."
