12 of the Best Costumes from the Village Halloween Parade 2016

WEST VILLAGE, NY — The Village Halloween Parade this year was spooky, unpredictable and topical. The costume competition was fierce. There were Donald Trumps galore, as well as just your average scary monsters and machete murderers. Over 50,000 people participated, some flying giant puppets, or dancing on stilts, or posing for the crowd on the sidelines in a miraculous getup.

Patch took photos of some of the best costumes in the parade, and of characters celebrating the spookiest of days in the West Village.
