$15K In Jewelry Stolen From Greenwich Village Apartment: Police
Police released photos Monday of a man wanted in connection to a burglary that took place in Greenwich Village in July.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Police released information and photos Monday of a man wanted in connection to a burglary that resulted in $15,000 worth of jewelry getting stolen from a Greenwich Village apartment.
The burglary happened around 9 p.m. in a building near Christopher Street and Hudson Street on July 16, police said.
The man entered the lobby through an unlocked front door — once inside — he walked into an apartment and took $250 dollars and the thousands of dollars of jewelry, an NYPD spokesperson said.

The robber then fled westbound on Christopher Street. NYPD did not specify what kind of jewelry the man got away with.
