Teen Stabbed In Head In Washington Square Park, Police Say
The 19-year-old was attacked after he refused to share his weed, according to police and reports.
WEST VILLAGE, NY — A 19-year-old smoking weed in Washington Square Park was stabbed in the head after he refused to share it, according to police and reports.
Two men cornered the teenager and two women near the north side of the West Village park about 2:30 a.m. and asked to take a hit, according to police and a New York Post report.
The men became violent when the teen said no and stabbed him on the left side of the head, police said.

Medics rushed the 19-year-old to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, officials said.
"I've never seen anything that sort of scary happen," an eyewitness told ABC 7. "So that kind of makes you think."

No arrests have been made since the two men fled the park, police said.
