"Just like that, El Condor Coffee Roasters has finally opened its door! From now on, it’s full swing from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. every day at 95 Greenwich Avenue," El Condor wrote on its Instagram page. "Come visit soon, we will be happy to see you! Also, the coffee is really good. And the AB&J toast. And everything else on the opening menu."
Outside of coffee, the menu offers quiche, bowls, salads, cheese and charcuterie, pastries, juices and smoothies, desserts, wine, and a spritz cocktail.
El Condor told Eater NY that is a no-tipping establishment where wages start at $20 an hour and there's a revenue share system. The owner's goal is to "establish a baseline annual pay rate of at least $50,000 for each employee."
