GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — President Biden and his family chose a swanky Greenwich Village restaurant for a pre-UN General Assembly dinner Sunday, shining a spotlight on a local haunt that serves fine Italian cuisine.

The president joined his wife Jill and their daughter Ashley for a meal at the II Cantori restaurant, according to photos shared in a New York Post report.

The restaurant's menu boasts Tuscan-inspired dishes including filet mignon, tagliolini al zucchini (pasta with slices of zucchini and cheese), and salmone alla griglia (grilled salmon with spinach and roasted potatoes).

Biden headed uptown Tuesday, where he made a case before the UN General Assembly that the world must remain united in defending Ukraine against Russian aggression as the war rages on with no end in sight.
