GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — President Biden and his family chose a swanky Greenwich Village restaurant for a pre-UN General Assembly dinner Sunday, shining a spotlight on a local haunt that serves fine Italian cuisine.

The president joined his wife Jill and their daughter Ashley for a meal at the II Cantori restaurant, according to photos shared in a New York Post report.

The restaurant's menu boasts Tuscan-inspired dishes including filet mignon, tagliolini al zucchini (pasta with slices of zucchini and cheese), and salmone alla griglia (grilled salmon with spinach and roasted potatoes).

The most expensive item on the menu? Costolette d'agnello scottadito (broiled rack of lamb marinated with fresh herbs) for $69.

It is unclear which dish the Bidens ordered — but the president had bigger fish to fry on his visit to New York.
