Vegan Restaurant By Chloe Parts Ways With Its Namesake, Report Says
The popular vegan restaurant chain By Chloe has parted ways with its namesake Chloe Coscarelli, according to the Wall Street Journal.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — The chef and namesake behind NYC's popular vegan restaurant chain By Chloe has parted ways with the restaurant group running the chain, the Wall Street Journal reports.
ESquared Hospitality, which ran the chain with the eatery's namesake Chloe Coscarelli, has "terminated" ties with Coscarelli, the restaurant group told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday night.
ESquared told the newspaper that the chain, which began with a location in the West Village, would operate without Coscarelli going forward. The separation follows months of a legal back-and-forth between Coscarelli and the hospitality group over the management of By Chloe.

Coscarelli told the WSJ that if ESquared continues to operate By Chloe, she would take steps necessary to stop the company from using her name.
“I will protect the integrity of my brand,” she told the Journal.
