Since the news broke that Swift would be speaking at NYU's 2022 ceremony, fans who don't attend the Lower Manhattan school have been trying their best to land tickets.

Flooding the social media pages of students and offering hundreds of dollars for tickets to the Yankee Stadium ceremony.

Controversially, Swift will only be speaking at the commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2022, and not at the ceremony for the pandemic delayed graduating classes of 2020 and 2021 later in the day.

A petition calling for Swift to speak at both ceremonies on Wednesday called the school's decision "casually cruel."

Disability rights activist Judith Heumann will be the speaker at the second ceremony.

The ceremony for the classes of 2020 and 2021 will begin at 4 p.m.
