Man Arrested In Village Butt-Grabbing Spree: Police
Scott Blake was arrested Wednesday in connection to grabbing seven butts in the West Village, East Village, and Chelsea, NYPD said.
LOWER MANHATTAN, NY — A man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a spree of grabbing butts in the West Village, East Village, and Chelsea, police said Thursday.
Scott Blake, 55, was arrested and charged with stalking, forcible touching, and sexual abuse for the seven different incidents, police said.
NYPD gave Blake's address as a homeless shelter in Brooklyn.

Police did not specify if the people grabbed were men or women. According to police, there have been no injuries.

Wednesday, July 20
- Incident #1: About 2:30 p.m. at corner of Fifth Avenue and East 8th Street.
- Incident #2: About 3 p.m. at corner of Greenwich Avenue and Avenue of the Americas.
Thursday, July 21
- Incident #3: About 12:50 p.m. in front of 229 E. 12th St.
- Incident #4: About 12:55 p.m. in front of 229 E. 12 St. The man was observed on surveillance camera wearing a gray t-shirt, gray shorts and sneakers, police said.
- Incident #5: About 1 p.m. hours at the corner of Third Avenue and East 12th Street.
- Incident #6: About 1:50 p.m. at the corner of Seventh Avenue and West 28th Street.
August 1
- Incident #7: Police did not give details, but Blake was charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse from the midtown south incident.
