Man Dies After Fall From West Village Building, Police Say

The 37-year-old man died after he fell from a West Village brownstone early Wednesday morning, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A 37-year-old man died after he fell from a West Village building early Wednesday morning, police said.

The man's body was discovered in front of 111 W. 11th St. near Sixth Avenue at 6:30 a.m. The victim is not a resident of the building and is believed to be visiting a friend, police said.

It was not immediately clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the man's tumble off the brownstone, but foul play is not suspected, police said.
